Java Runtime merged Openoffice.org

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

The most i hate about computer is formatting. Recently i was format my PC again to unknown reason. I think is because of spyware activity. When i switch on my pc in the next day then all are blank screen. So after 3 days troubleshooting and no improvement so i make decision to format it.

Operating system is an another issue. I used Windows 2000 but not works. So finally i go to shop and buy Windows XP Corporate edition (with SP3).

As usual I must install everything like my previous application. After updating Java Runtime i was aware that they merged with OppenOffice.org installation.

Download Win XP SP3 Here

Update:

This issue was posted on this forum and following is the what member response.

We have experience with both XP & Vista and there is not even a
question - Vista is a HUGE disappointment

Memory hog if there ever was one and every user we know has had the
 same experience

Any knowledgeable systems/network pro recommends NOT upgrading

This is not a cost issue - pretty ridiculous to state that must be
 people’s concern

Even Steve Ballmer has said he is open to extending the time frame

Dell has even made the decision to sell you the Vista as they will have
to follow MS’s guidance but provide the buyer a downgrade to XP

That way if they ever get Vista right the buyer can choose to upgrade
at no cost
